Frequently Asked Questions

What is Saachi?

Saachi is a calm, roughly 5-minute daily practice rooted in the Bhagavad Gita. Each day you get a curated verse, a personal reflection, and a prayer for whatever is on your mind. You can also practice virtues, ask for guidance on a specific situation, and keep a private journal of your prayers and reflections.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your journal, reflections, and check-ins are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. When you ask for personalized wisdom or a prayer, what you share is sent anonymously to Anthropic's Claude AI for processing and is not retained after the response is returned. We do not collect your name, email, or any personal identifier.

Where does the content come from?

Saachi draws from the Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharata, Ramayana, the Puranas, and the Upanishads, and rotates sources so you encounter the full breadth of the tradition rather than the same handful of lines. Reflections and prayers are offered for personal practice. They are interpretations meant to be acted on, not authoritative scholarly translations.

How do I set or change my daily reminder?

Open Settings within the app and choose a reminder time that works for you. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device, so make sure notifications are enabled for Saachi in your iPhone's Settings.

Does Saachi cost anything?

No. Saachi is currently free to download and use. If that ever changes, we will make any pricing clear before you are charged.

The app is not generating a response. What should I do?

This is usually a connectivity issue. Check that you have an active internet connection and try again. If the problem persists, force-quit the app and reopen it. If you continue to experience issues, email us at admin@theleoapps.com with your iOS version.

Can I restore my journal if I delete and reinstall the app?

Unfortunately no. Your journal is stored locally on your device and is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app. We do not keep a copy on our servers. We recommend using iOS device backups (iCloud or iTunes) to preserve your data before uninstalling.

Do I need to grow up with these teachings to use Saachi?

Not at all. Saachi is made for anyone who wants to bring the Gita into daily life, whether you grew up with these teachings or are just discovering them. It is calm, practical, and never preachy.

What languages does Saachi support?

Saachi currently supports English, Hindi, and Gujarati. You can change your language preference in Settings within the app.

I found a bug or want to suggest a feature. How do I reach you?

We would love to hear from you. Email us at admin@theleoapps.com with the subject line "Bug Report" or "Feature Request." We read every email.
