Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Vayla, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms apply to all users of Vayla regardless of subscription status.

What Vayla Is

Vayla is an AI-assisted emotional micro-coaching tool designed to help you process everyday stress and difficult moments. It uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate perspective shifts, affirmations, and coaching prompts based on what you share.

Vayla is intended for general wellness and personal reflection purposes only.

What Vayla Is Not

Vayla is not a licensed mental health service, therapist, counselor, psychologist, or medical provider. The content generated by Vayla:

• Does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Is not a substitute for professional mental health care
• Should not be used in place of emergency services
• Is generated by AI and may not be accurate or appropriate for every situation

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or are in danger, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately. In the United States, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line).

Eligibility

Vayla is available to users aged 12 and older. Users under 18 should have parental awareness of their use of the app. By using Vayla, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement in your jurisdiction.

Subscription and Billing

Vayla offers a free 3-day trial followed by an auto-renewing subscription. Subscription details:

• The free trial begins immediately upon subscription confirmation
• You will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• All billing is managed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not process or store payment information
• To cancel, go to Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Vayla to:

• Submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or abusive
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the app or its API
• Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers or services
• Submit false or misleading information
• Use the app on behalf of another person without their knowledge

Intellectual Property

The Vayla app, its design, branding, and underlying technology are the property of The Leo Apps. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of Vayla without explicit written permission.

The AI-generated content you receive during sessions is provided for your personal use only. You may not republish or commercialize session outputs.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Vayla is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Leo Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Vayla, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated content.

Changes to the App or Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms or change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of Vayla at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where possible. Continued use of Vayla after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
