Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data private?

Yes. Your journal is stored only on your device and is never uploaded to our servers. When you submit a situation, it is sent anonymously to Anthropic's Claude AI for processing and is not retained after the response is returned. We do not collect your name, email, or any personal identifier.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Vayla and tap Cancel Subscription. You will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period. Apple handles all billing and refund requests.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find your Vayla purchase, and select "Request a refund."

The app is not generating a response. What should I do?

This is usually a connectivity issue. Check that you have an active internet connection and try again. If the problem persists, force-quit the app and reopen it. If you continue to experience issues, email us at admin@theleoapps.com with your iOS version.

Can I restore my journal if I delete and reinstall the app?

Unfortunately no. Your journal is stored locally on your device and is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app. We do not keep a copy on our servers. We recommend using iOS device backups (iCloud or iTunes) to preserve your data before uninstalling.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Open Vayla on your new device, go to Settings within the app, and tap "Restore Purchase." Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Is Vayla a replacement for therapy?

No. Vayla is an everyday wellness tool for processing stress and difficult moments. It is not a licensed mental health service and is not a substitute for therapy, counseling, or medical care. If you are dealing with a serious mental health condition, please seek support from a qualified professional.

What languages does Vayla support?

Vayla currently supports English, Hindi, and Gujarati. You can change your language preference in Settings within the app.
